The Midland Regatta was held on Saturday June 25 at the Bayfort Camp just outside of Midland.
The weather was not great Saturday morning, as it was raining. Finally, it started to clear a little after lunch, and we were able to get out boats rigged and get out on the water.
Luckily, the weather held and we were able to complete five races.

Note: Since everybody sailed single-handed, no penalty was assessed for doing so. Each sailor's worst result was thrown-out.
Many thanks to Derek and Richard for serving as race committee, and to Randy, who helped get Charger ready.
After the results, we retired to Henry's Fish House to rehash the afternoon's events over dinner.
