The 2007 Provincial Championship Regatta was held at Sibbald Point Provincal Park on September 15 and 16.
There was a cold wind blowing from the north, and the waves were very large. We decided to defer the racing for Sunday, as the forecast was much better.
Those who were camping, and a few day trippers, gathered at the Beaumont's site for a communal dinner.
On Sunday we had a perfect day for racing: a fair bit of wind with lots of gusts and shifts to keep things interesting, and a warm sunny day. The committee set a traditional course: triangle-sausage with the start/finish line about a third the way up the windward leg. We were able to sail three races.
